WHO WE ARE
Two sisters who decided to take a leap of faith, and become their own "boss babes". We, along with our wonderful husbands, decided it was time to put our mutal love for the game to good use.
Zach and Courtney Remsing have been married since 2016. Together, they have 3 great kids. Zach, by day, is an Assistant Foreman with Union Pacific Railroad, and has deemed himself as "beauty and brains of the operation". Courtney is an Administrative Assitant for Dilliard's Corporate Offices. She being the first to catch the "Billards Bug" infected Zach, who in turn, passed along to Jeremy and finally Jordan. Slowly, but surely, we are beginning to contaminate the children.
Jordan and Jeremy Palmer have been married since 2017, and have 4 amazing youngsters. Jordan, who works at Dennia Beard State Farm, is your go-to for the best insurance coverage you can get. If you're lookng for a glow up, she also has just the right Mary Kay products for you. Jeremy is a Detective with LRPD, and brings a strong commitment to exellence while serving the community around him.
On any given day, you are certain to catch one, if not all, of us hanging around and growing our pool family.
THE STORY
We are simply a family owned, small town pool hall located right in the heart of Benton. From our front windows, we have a beautiful view of the Saline County Courthouse. Like many of you, we grew up playing in this pool hall. We made friends who turned into family. Life lessons were learned; some good, some bad. An abundance of memories have been made in this historic building. These walls have seen generation after generation grow and learn with, and from, each other. There is so much history in this quaint, little building. When the opportunity to purchase this decades old business arose, without much thought, we jumped on it. With our relaunch in June of 2020, we are determined to bring everyone back together, and put this hall back on the map.
WHAT WE HAVE TO OFFER
CJ'z holds 10 - 7' Valley Barboxes, with pro-cut rails, available for pay per game play or available to rent by the hour. 1 Gandy 9ft table is available by the hour. We have a larger than life respect and appreciation for our Military and all 1st Responders, and always offer 50% off of hourly table rental. Pride is taken in all equipment, and is kept well maintained. All tables are covered with 860 Simonis cloth and only Aramith pool balls are used. Enjoy your favorite sports in HD while having an ice cold beer, hanging with family, and making new friends. We offer a wide array of pool cues, pool cases, gloves and many other accessories for purchase. A large selection of snacks, soft drinks, and energy drinks are readily available to keep you fueled through the night. We hold weekly tournaments, and host APA League 3 nights a week. League nights consist of 8 Ball on Monday night, Double Jeopardy on Wednesday nights, and Thursday night is Ladies 8 Ball. With 31 teams, we are currently the largest host location for SC-ARK APA.
